Your responsibilities: The Market Intelligence Manager will be expected to provide insight and intelligence on all relevant developments of the Flexible Packaging markets internationally. As part of our clients’ Consumer Goods Packaging team he/she will have a detailed understanding of the flexible packaging business including market trends and analytics and will back all sales related activities by providing/preparing market data analysis, company information, technical information, new and future development and trends.

Key tasks:
  • responsible for the development and implementation of market research and market data analysis of existing and potential customer (FMCP producer), retailer and competitors in the flexible packaging market
  • compiles and delivers business intelligence reports to the sales team on a regular basis (weekly/monthly)
  • Takes full responsibility for key reporting areas, producing relevant/useable information to enable recipients to make informed business decisions
  • Close collaboration with external agencies and partners
  • develops skill set and knowledge base to provide ability to support other linked business areas – such as Database Marketing
  • supports the Sales Manager with all Ad-hoc requests, in order to fulfil various business needs
Our requirements

  • well rounded analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • deep understanding of the flexible packaging industry and market
Languages:
Fluency in English is a must; any other language an advantagee

Education:
Qualifications in business administration/ economics with further marketing and/or sales qualification

Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an international environment

(The position is subject of the Austrian collective agreement “papierverarbeitende Industrie” with a legal minimum wage of EUR 40.000,- gross/year plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder)
